[REPORTED]Flashlight power appears to be tied to battery switch

As the title states - the flashlight seems to be tied to the main battery power switch.

I am able to toggle the flashlight upon entry to cold and dark cockpit of the Hornet, however as soon as the main battery power switch has been toggled on, then back to off - the flashlight power also turns off.

Is this intended or a bug? Seems like a bug - as the flashlight shouldn't be tied to any external power.

Cheers,

Don

Hi

If I can please ask you to add a short track replay showing this.

when I test the flashlight seems to work in both scenarios

Confirm but it's a little more complicated. If the brightness inputs (increase or decrease) are not pressed then the flashlight is enabled both with battery on or off. However if either brightness control is input then the next time battery is set to off the flashlight will go off and be impossible to be on without battery power.

The flashlight when used without battery power and is on and brightness controls do not change the brightness. It's as if there are two flashlight devices: the battery-off flashlight representing a handheld item that cannot be dimmed and battery-on flashlight represents the cockpit portable light which can.

Of minor note is that if the cockpit portable light is dimmed and changed color (white to green or green to white) the alternate color light is initialized at 10/10 brightness. Subsequent brightness steps will occur relative to the previous brightness value in memory. E.g. if white light is dimmed to 1/10, green selected it will be green 10/10 brightness. If increase brightness is then pressed the light will change to 2/10.
