Hornet BALT AP Mode

Hi guys

 

Off late, Having difficulties engaging BALT AP mode to hold altitude. ATTH, RALT work just fine, but this one doesnt. Was working fine prior.

 

Any tips?

Check your pitch axis dead zones. You can often allow engagement by just touching the stick in the pitch axis to centre it again. Try increasing the dead zone by 1. My Warthog needs a deadzone of 3. Other sticks may need more

hmm for a few months this summer i was having to push the stick forward a hair and it would engage. As of last update It's no longer needed, I changed nothing.

Yeah more than likely a deadzone problem. Joystick falling out of calibration slightly over time is likely the issue.

Or press the UFC button and immediately wiggle the stick a little until it catches.
