Reflected
This is an alternate version of mission 1 of "The Big Show" campaign using the Channel map. I made it because the area of operation in this mission is a low detail area on the Normandy map - originally used by the campaign. It looked alright when I made the campaign, so I decided to use the historical accurate location for this mission. Then the Normandy map was updated, and now the low detail areas look absolutely terrible. I reported this, but I got no reply from its developers. Now with the Channel map released you can play it over a much more detailed and realistic scenery, because it covers the area in question. It can be played as a single mission, or as part of the official campaign. Make sure you read the ReadMe file first. REDEYE_CVW-66
Thanks for this! This helps a lot (Will help even more with Biggin Hill in, which will hopefully come later). Sadly, even with a pretty solid rig, performance on the map is questionable, but it least it looks good and feel right. Plans to do it with any of the other missions? Reflected
No, the location of the other missions is covered by the Normandy map. I’m also keeping my fingers crossed for some optimization of the Channel map because it’s really beautiful Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
REDEYE_CVW-66
Cool. Also, check out Barthek's upcoming repaint of Normandy (In the DCS mods section). Looks fantastic. With that, and hopefully new weather and damage model to boot, it will be a great boon to DCS-WW2
