Borchi, you think chase scenario will never hapen in real life... you familiar that one of the basic tactics for Russian aircraft like the MiG-21 or MiG-29 are to be guided by GCI and sneek on the target... that would mean ise IR missiles and what not better then long range chase IR missile like the R-27ET for this?

Seriously though ive seen Aim-120's and R-77's do similair things, tending to swarm all around you like bees like they are reaquiring you with their 180deg scan cone all seeing eye. Blame the game.

yeah funny how I never ever saw something like that on my end... more than 2 years of gameplay and never hapened to me... some funny game code aye, and you know if you don't have common sense to tell you something is not right then bad luck for you... or maybe you know what's going on, either way I stick with my common sense and fairnes. You can chose what ever side you wanna be on.

 

I can't prove if someone has dinosaurus replacing aircraft... what can be easily done... I can't see what people have on their machines so can't prove such things. What I can do is realise when nonsense things happen bit too much and normally happens with certain people only. My common sense tells me something is fishy there. You can say "burn the witch" and laugh about it, you just show me you're not of the right mindset.

These issues are related to how the sensor modeling is done in LOMAC, when jamming and particularly network lag is involved - for all you know you're warping on the other guy's screen and his missile is trying to follow you.

There is also a slim chance that those missiles will sometimes exceed their gimbal for one reason or another (maybe you warped ahead of them, so it only looks like that's what they're doing, or maybe there's a bug - or both).

No disrespect to you Kuky but you've hardly flown, you fly in the slow hours when theres not many around. After i'd flown online for 2 years I had pretty much an opinion that everyone shooting me down that I couldn't kill was cheating somehow, but now I know I was just a nub. :D

Basically your over enthusiasm for realistic flying is clouding your judgement on what is a flawed sim.

Sorry Frostie but I am flying very much on a daily basis... and very frequently online... not when you are around but surely you can't say someone hans't flown much if server he's in has 4-5 people as to someone who flies in server that always has 10+ people... it's still same flying hours Frostie and as far as I know wether you're engaging a guy and shooting a missile at him if you two are alone makes absolutely no difference if there were another 10 people in the server.. the game still does it own thing and missiles still fly the way they are coded, etc. Your logic in this case is crap.

 

Fact that I see weird stuff only with certain people is not something I would ignore.

 

I don't wanna continue this conversation any more, I think what ever had to be said was said.

well to the vidoes kuky, there is no cheat at all. it happened to me sometimes when we had our basic training in our squad.

this is something my flying buddy recorded when he flew in the HL.

when he saw that he started to luagh his ass of and said it is to cool to keep that off th internet.

to the sacanzones of the lockon missiles, well they are to huge but that is something ED know allready.

 

but further, this happend also when we had squadmatches with the vjg71 a german squad that does not need to use cheats at all.

so kuky, i would like to refer to forstie.

how often do you fly. in former times i have seen your name appear quiet often in the HL but now. no kuky there when ever i join and the is no regularity to it.

 

lets get the fact straight. we want to call lockon a simulation, but it is not in many regards

i flew 1 circle fights, almost scissor type, with Aim54s in Falcon4 Allied

Force/Farce. I was able to replicate it several times.

My squad mate Lightner saw it and was laughing a bit :)

I dropped of internet (due to move) for good 2 moths (Dec-Feb period) so I wasn't flying at all (not even offline). I am bit less there now for some other reasons... weekdays evenings (Sydney time) I am still there almost every night but since there are not many people around then very often I don't fly at all.
