[REPORTED]EO BORE simultaneous track impossible

Maverick missile cannot simultaneously track two missiles under conditions when it should. E.g. Only 2xAGM-65D carried on LAU-117, EO BORE, first missile commanded track on target, MSL STEP, second missile commanded track on target. Expected behavior is that repeated pressing of MSL STEP will alternate selection of missile on station 3 and 7 while both missiles retain track. Observed is MSL STEP causes the missile not selected to lose track.

Seems ok to me bore sighting the mavericks on different targets.

Attempt it without a TGP loaded.

Simultaneous tracks work fine for me in VIS without a targeting pod. However missile stepping resets the target designator back to boresight. Correct me if I'm wrong but missile stepping should not reset your target designation.

 

BORE doesn't work at all for me and PRE doesn't work because the missile seems to get stuck to the current steerpoint/SPI.

I had only tried it in EO BORE and that's what the track shows, it not working in that mode. Feel free to update the thread title to "EO BORE simultaneous track impossible". It is similarly impossible regardless of TGP carriage and use. I just tried EO PRE and EO VIS and they do allow simultaneous as expected (again with and without TGP).
