joojoo Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Hey to all I try to slew the TPOD via rdr cursor switches (I use hotas warthog and I have set up the rdr in Y and X axis on the throttle) but seems stacked while at the same time I can slew the maverick with the same switches. Any idea?
Frederf Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Perfectly normal. What sensor the cursor moves depends on which one is selected. Everything else following is how the airplane is designed so it is expected for missile to follow the radar or TGP. 1
joojoo Posted November 14, 2020 Author Posted November 14, 2020 but the same happens with GBU 12 not only with the mavs

Any idea? I honstly have some trouble understanding your problem, esp what you mean by "stacked" and you cannot slew a GBU 12 (or any GBU for that matter), you can only slew the TGP, FCR and the MAV (when the appropriate MFD is SOI). Maybe you are referring to the fact that sometimes the TGP cursor seems stuck. What you can try then is TMS right, the bigger cross should change into a smaller, standard AREA TRACK cross and then you are able to slew again.
BuzzU Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 I'm not sure what your problem is but I wanted to mention. The boat switch makes a better dogfight switch. At least I think so. Buzz
