I've noticed a few times that my flight controls become unresponsive during flight, but I don't know what keys I pressed to make them like that or how I get it back to normal. What I mean by unresponsive is this (I'm using a keyboard BTW): I press A (roll left key) for about 1/10 of a second and nothing happens (but under normal circumstances it gives a slight roll to the left), but if I keep it in for 1/2 a second my plane suddenly does a violent roll.

It's almost as if it builds up energy and then lets it all out in one spurt, instead of letting it out in a controlled manner like normal. It's really frustrating because in a dogfight I lose velocity VERY quickly from all the violent buildups.

Does anyone know what could be wrong? Thanks guys.

Sounds like you have an autopilot mode on.

I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda

Maybe it is application anomalies...

Example rare but yesterday when I was flying brick (Su-25T) i did steer right and something went wrong that plane immadietly banked to right, even rescue autopilot (Alt-3) couldn't force to level. Plane wasn't hurt, I guess it is simple rare anomalies which can happen in any game in my accident.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

Try to task out of the game and come back when this occurs.

I don't think that would be such a good idea when playing online, since I'd most probably crash because of waiting a minute or two to task out of LOFC and then get back in again.

EDIT: I found out that I had auto-level flight (or whatever it's called) on. Problem solved! :)
