Reverb G2 Fov Mod

I just removed the face gasket and use the face padding of my old HTC vive, the Fov increment is similar to Index now.

How do you secure it, double sided tape?

the vive pads in the photos have the velcro loop fabric so only need to affix 4 small hook strips at sides and bottom.  improved comfort and fov, works perfect.  for non-narrow head shapes, it also improves comfort.

I will get my kit today, it should improve the same way as you.

 

I'm just worried about my eyes being too close to the lenses because of greasy eye lashes leaving some stuff on them, on the CV1 I had to clean them often...

 

In the case of the cable, we also can secure it with velcro, but I used 2 of my cables velcro straps to secure it because the small plastic hook kept jumping out of position.

No more issues.
