Ressay Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Hello everyone, I'm trying to build a simple setup for my DCS, so I'm having a single 33" 4K monitor which I'm planning to make it the center camera and two 27" 1920x1080 monitors that I wanna put them at both sides of the 4K... Of course I'm making this to have a wider view of the surroundings, but my concern is that the center monitor is almost double higher than the two at sides (in terms of resolution). will I be able to see the sky with the side monitors or it will just show the panels and maybe the edge of the cockpit ? I know my question is a bit noobish but I'd rather be a noob than spending days playing with the Monitor.lua file
DutchCoolHand Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Buy a VR headset, yes image quality will less but immersion is 100x better. AMD RYZEN 7 2700 / 32GB / RTX2070 / 500GB M.2 with Windows and DCS / 2 - 500GB SSD / Rift S/ TM Warthog with F18 stick and Virpil WarBRD / Foxx Mounts/ MFG Crosswind rudders + 3 MFD's | Now enjoying VR with PointCTRL controllers + Gamematrix JetSeat
agrasyuk Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 For a 3 screen setup I'd go with 3 1080p monitors of the same size. Anton. My pit build thread . Simple and cheap UFC project

I did connect 3x27" with 1920*1080 resolution, and having an issue now with the display, I made everything as per the book, and looks like DCS doesn't see my left monitor, everything starts from the center monitor, Idk why, I will post another one here containing details
