Reverb G2 wont go into VR through standalone DCS.

Just got the reverb G2. I'm having an issue going into the actual VR. I am using DCS standalone....not Steam. What do I need to do to get into my full headset view in Vr? Is it something to do with WMR? Not sure what to do. Very frustrating!

I haven't watched the video link above, so that may answer it.  You need three things: 1) WMR Protal app (Windows), 2) Steam VR (Steam), and 3) WMR for SteamVR (Steam).

 

EDIT:  OK, I watch the video and it has a lot of good information.  What he doesn't cover si that you will need the three items listed above installed to launch DCS.  I run DCS stand alone and NOT through steam.

C : ssd 2To (no nvme) for windows, dcs and now MFS, the others are ddur 7200 

DCS p51 spit uhey fc3 AC10 II F18 supercarrier mirage gazelle (not french for nothing...) normandy persian maps   ALL WITHOUT STEAM

I would like to get the hp g2 (only in february in France ! ) alone. (are the handset absolutly necessary) 

possible  with  my PC ? enough for smooth....

If not  which graphic card ?

If not what to do ?

You don’t need the and controllers to play dcs but they are nice for other games.

 

as for your spec, I can’t tell what you have now vs what you are intending to buy, but my initial guess is that your current hardware won’t run the g2 very well.

 

you should start a separate thread for build advice, but 32gb of ram a modern processor with the fastest single core clock speed and cooling to match and 2080 super or above for the gpu.
