The F-15E is almost always carrying conformal tanks. Any experience they have maneuvering against one is unlikely to be against a clean one
Dragon1-1 Posted December 25, 2020 Posted December 25, 2020 The armpit tanks on the Mudhen aren't really removable except for maintenance, the "clean" status for it includes them. It's, plain and simply, not an F-15C. 2

It's, plain and simply, not an F-15C. You're right, it's an F-15B/D with reinforced structure. Just because they rarely fly without them doesn't mean they're "not really removable"
