[FUTURE IMPLEMENTATION] Can't access Mission Editor Waypoint Properties

As per the RAZBAM December announcement and the recent changelog, the Mission Editor should let you change waypoint properties. I can't get the waypoint properties tab to appear no matter what I do (see the first picture in the document attached to the December Announcement).

 

No trackfile as still on Mission Editor.

Can you walk me through what you're doing to get it in the ME? How many waypoints are you setting? Are you making the aircraft client or player and not AI? Be very specific.

Steps to reproduce.

 

1. Open Mission Editor (I used Caucasus).
2. Add plane
3. Switch plane to AV-8B
4. Switch control to player
5. Add multiple waypoints.

No way to edit waypoint properties.

Have tried changing the order of steps 3,4,5 - no difference.

Same here.  There are no additional "Waypoint Types" available in the ME.  There is no additional menu tab between failures and radio freqs.

 

In your PDF, under "How to create a Waypoint Property", step 1,  fig. 1 shows 8 menu tabs.  I only have 7.

Looking into this. Marking as REPORTED. We're working with ED to see if we can narrow the culprit. As with most new things, and with such a broad player base it wont always work with some users and sometimes with others. Hopefully we can get this sorted soon. Thankfully the TTT/ TOT kneeboard page has not had any major issues to my knowledge.

So I’m curious - it sounds from your response like it’s working for some people and/or some of the time? I literally cannot get the WP properties page no matter what I have tried - including doing a full clean install - are there workaround steps to get it to reliably appear in the mean time prior to a fix?

Negative. I cannot get it to appear either and I was showing the devs in a live video how I was doing it. It is being looked at and will report back if there is a solution or you will see it updated in a future patch.

Any update on this. I've just asked about it in the discord so sorry to repeat it here but someone replied saying that the devs couldn't reproduce the issue but I can't get a waypoint properties tab in the editor. Just checked with my cousin and his is the same.

as this happened just before christmas and Razbam is on holiday till 11.01.21 IIRC there is no update yet to be expected

According to the devs it was not included in the update prior to holidays and is going to bein a future update. Therefore I'm marking this as FUTURE IMPLEMENTATION and moving to RESOLVED.
