Aim 54 Launch Procedures

Before I gripe about the missle I want to make sure it isn’t me. 
 

Can one of you who is very experienced and nearly and exert list out the launch procedure below for but jester and human Rio. So I can go fly it and compare it to what I’m doing.

I think he means optimal parameters or something? Phrased like this it's a really ambiguous question.

Probably nobody going to be able to really answer without some additional details because for every type of missile shot the answer is basically "It depends"

Altitude, speed, target type, closure, range etc.

Oh, yeah. It’s a “it depends” type of thing.

Before patch I let jester sort out the tws contacts and give me a hot trigger indicator I fire from around 65nm for fighter and 85 for bomber size targets and get 75 to 80 percent kills now same procedure even closer 50 to 40nm against bomber or fighter 1 of 6 hit and some don’t climb like before they fly direct to and they don’t save one missile get steering commands,

The Phoenix is Broke right now. Apparently it's running on the wrong flight model or something.

If we ever get a definitive consensus that it's  fully and properly squared away. I wouldn't bother worrying about how you're using it.
