Two liveries in wrong place

Hey,

 

if you choose USA as country and check the liveries in drop down mennu, then you find two liveries which are wrong in place and belong to a different country.

I am talking of the NGRC and the ROCAF liveries.

They look if they belong to China. But I am not sure. Would it be possible to bind them to China, or the right Country they belong to?

 

Would be cool to see this (bug?) fixed/updated on the next patch.

Just change the country line on livery description then you can assign any specific aircraft to any country.

No they won't

because "right Country they belong to" is not and never will be in DCS.

And what about the other F5 liveries? They are all "right Country they belong to".

And what about the other modules like Hornet and Viper? Kuwait liveries just for Kuwait. Swiss liveries just for Switzerland. US liveries just for US. and so on and so on.

 

So please dont spread any fake news here.

 

I hope when the ED Team is back from holiday they will take a look at this.

I think its not much effort to swap two liveries to the country they belong to, like the rest of the 60 liveries.

the problem is those liveries DO NOT belong to [The People's Republic of] China (People's Liberation Army Air Force).  Those are Taiwanese (Republic of China Air Force) liveries.  Granted, it would be cool to see Taiwan added to the country list (and hopefully we may get them when the Marianas map is added) but I think they're fine as USAF for now

What did you mean by spreading fake news?

Those two liveries are belong to taiwan/ROC which currently not in the game.

And in case you're not familiar with politics in east asia, mentioning taiwan/roc in your product means high probability of pissing china off and lose it's market, ED will not took the risk.

How do I know? Because few months ago ED did kinda adding taiwan/ROC in the game while they put national flag in the server list, and guess what, roc flag had been swapped and replaced with "chiness taipei" flag in just 10 hours duo to chinese player's complaint.

 

I hope it can just be some LUA file work, I really do, but thing is far more complicate than you think.

I didnt know they belong to Taiwan.

Of course then they shoudnt added to China. What a question.

As soon asa Taiwan is included into the game, they should added to Taiwan.

And when you look at my first post I never wrote they should be added to China.

I wrote that it looks like that for me, but I was not sure. They should be added to "the right Country they belong to".

 

And your post didnt explain in any kind that those were Taiwan liveries.

What do you mean with this one? "never will be"? Why not, if Taiwan is added to DCS?

 

Of corse the are fine as USAF for now. But as soon as Taiwan is added to DCS they should move tothe right place.

Technically ROCAF isn't China, it's the Taiwanese air force. Now I'm not sure if we have a Taiwanese faction, I sincerely hope we do. If we did, that is where that skin would belong
