VR HMD door gunner, can the player view be decoupled from the doorgun in future multicrew patch?

After someone suggested to try the command RShift T in order to not have to aim the doorgun via the player view...

excited to give it a try to find out that IT DID NOT WORK...

but it supposedly works with TrackIR... ( i dont use TrackIR).

 

Asking the devs to decouple the player view so that is independent of the doorgun ESPECIALLY IN VR...

PLUS.. it would be nice to change the position of the player view, via the camera cockpit assignments, but added to the gunner control settings...

 

so far the only editable control setting is "fire machinegun"

please add Cockpit Camera Move Back, Up, Down Center, Forward..(etc) Actions for the Gunner..

 

Added note, when i go into F2, F3, F4 views from outside of the Huey, pressing space bar or left mouse  does not allow the doorgun to fire, only from the F1 view can the player fire the doorgun.... just something i noticed...

the UH1H huey VR HMD door gunner with player view decoupled from the weapon is WORKING for the PAST TWO YEARS

this video is a testament of the awesome-ness and fun this feature has brought..

 

i am grateful that this feature has been extended to the MI24P and Mi8MTV2
