Virus Warning when Updating

When attempting to update to version 2.5.6.59625 I get this warning. log file attached

False positive. The file is encrypted audio data.

I did a repair DCS World but it still gives me the warning and won’t finish the install. Using Windows 10 built in security

I got the same warning. Windows Security quarantined it and prevents the update. Can DCS verify this file is safe before I try to un-quarantine it? I also got a warning to change my password when I logged-on to the forum to post this, don't know if there is a connection. thank you.

Came here to report the same thing.

 

Updating the open beta on Windows 10 using built in Windows virus protection.

 

Restored/Whitelisted Sounds.edc and update appears to be proceeding normally now.

I restored the suspect file in Windows Security/Virus & threat protection/Protection history, and selected to keep the file when prompted by the DCS updater. It updated fine now, sim started fine. Thanks

Same issue for me. But I allowed it through, and installed successfully.

Yeah allowing the warnings eventually let the install go on.
