Ok I am not sure if it is related to my Quest 2 headset or maybe its just the game. Had the same issue with the Quest 1. But even on high graphics settings everything about 50 feet away gets a jagged edge. If i look up close to the plane on the runway everything is fine and smooth. Looking out at the runway farther out everything gets really ugly. Everything becomes jagged as if AA was not turned on at all but everything is on max. If I move my head I can see the jagged edges move and shimmer. It really looks bad. Is this a Quest Link problem or just a VR problem? My flat screen does not see this issue at all.

Yeah DCS (and most flight sims) in VR are always pretty aliased. How you can deal with it depends on the power of your system. I would turn off all anti AA on nvidia card settings and only use MSAA in DCS (x2 or x4 PC power dependant) and then see if you can up the super sampling. Generally advised to do this outside of the DCS settings (ie leave the PD on 1.0) if you download and use the oculus tray tool you can up it in there, even 120% will help although this will eat power more than anything else! If you use steam then there is a slider in there too. Only ever use one render scale slider.

That fixed it for the most part. (At least it's as good as its going to get with a quest 2 I think) Its alot better now. On top of that I moved it back to 72 hz refresh rate down from the 90 I had earlier and its a bit smoother too boot. Thanks for the help.

Great! - worth playing between the msaa and supersampling to see what you like. Each will require power so a balance will be needed. After that you will get used to what's left and probably not notice after a while.

Hi,

Would you mind posting your nvida control panel DCS settings, Oculus Software settings and in-games settings please?

Sure,

CPU = overclocked 4.0 Ghz I-6700K to 4.6 Ghz (I have to set my Fans at 70%) / GPU = 2800 Super Founders Edition overclocked to from 1985 to 2085 Mhz (on the GPU I have to set my Fans at 100% to keep it cool). Its not quiet  by any means but I really can tell the difference when I overclock and I just wear headphones. Render Resolution (RR) in Oculus SW is set to 1.5. I am on RR of 1.6 now but some times it gets choppy and spend the majority of my time at 1.5.
