Get the Templates to retain the preset radio frequency for all Aircraft

I am reposting this from the A-10C II Wishlist since this is really a word wish list item not aircraft specific:  

 

for those reading please like this item so that it can get a high rank for the team to review.

 

It would be sweet if the templates retained the preset radios channels instead of taking the default.

We currently have squads in virtual wing and we have specific radios channels that each squad would like to use and it is difficult to make  new missions and have to reconfigure all the preset on all the jets.  it would be nice if we could make templates of the squads with all the radio channels preset on each aircraft and then save that as a template so we can just redeploy the flights in each mission

you already can do that, create a new mission, place one aircraft of each type used on your squad, set them to client and late activation. Customize their radio presets. Save the mission as a static template.

 

you can now create new missions, load the static template, and then whenever you need to place a new aircraft in the mission, just copy and paste the predefined units of the template .. that way you will have the radios already preset.

That would be one way but not really the way it is intended. Templates allow you to add to existing missions and are not map specific.  template files can be passed and edited easier then mission files.
