jwbflyer Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 For some reason (don’t know the trigger yet), during weapons employment, the hud symbology including the pitch ladder, will move to the side of the hud (off center).

Do you have any wind on the mission? Are you perhaps inputting rudder movement because you do not have a deadzone set? Please provide a short .trk file of the event occurring. jwbflyer Posted January 14, 2021 Author Posted January 14, 2021 I believe this is happening the moment I’m selecting a certain weapon. when I get back in town I will save a track file.

I wanted to troubleshoot it more before bug reporting, but yesterday I noticed the HUD off to one side and upon checking trim noticed: - with the A/P engaged the aircraft is a full ball width to the left out of trim with the corresponding HUD symbology. Rudder trimming appears disabled (may be accurate) when the A/P is operational, but the problem may be A/P and rudder / trim related.
Wisky Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 i am pretty sure this happens when selecting JDAMs to make space for the in Zone symbology
-NMS- Ikaros Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 Guys i posted a video in bugs section about it.. The hud pitch ladder moves wrongly when i a side slip (eg. Rudder inputs) and high roll angle. It does that on the Mirage also.
jwbflyer Posted January 22, 2021 Author Posted January 22, 2021 Thanks for posting the video. When it happened to me, I had selected something and the entire pitch ladder moved to the side and stayed there. If it where supposed to do this for JDAMs, then it would have been an easy post from RAZBAM. I am still out of town. I will be home in 3 days and will replicate and add a track file.
-NMS- Ikaros Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Guys it is fixed in Mirage. I hope it is normal in this bird also.
jwbflyer Posted January 30, 2021 Author Posted January 30, 2021 OK, here is my track file which should show: GBU-38 issues: did all of the same old steps that im well accustomed to, yet the LAR never populated on the EHSD and the bomb didn't pickle. At some point it shows the hud pitch ladder offset issue. The most frustrating: TDC slew sensitivity doesnt change when zoomed in, so very tiny inputs seem to make the tdc slew jump large, gross amounts. and the TDC slew direction is unpredictable now: Up should mean up and down should mean down however im finding what was up is now a diagonal....just very unpredictable. sorry, here are the track files: GBU38, TDC slew, hud pitch ladder offset, bugs.trk

jwbflyer Posted February 1, 2021 Author Posted February 1, 2021 Ok I think the GBU-38 issues may have been me from not knowing the new changes. But everything else reported is still in play.
