Feuerfalke Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Cool! Thanks for the quick reply! (as always) As we are working towards the slow and low movers like the BS and the Apache, I guess things like these become much more vital. Hopefully it will be included in the ME, soon. MSI X670E Gaming Plus | AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | 64 GB DDR4 | AMD RX 6900 XT | LG 55" @ 4K | Cougar 1000 W | CreativeX G6 | TIR5 | CH HOTAS (with BU0836X-12 Bit) + Crosswind Pedals | Win11 64 HP | StreamDeck XL | 3x TM MFD
GGTharos Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 If there's a feature you'd like that won't come with BS, you can always request it in the DCS wish-list. Even if it isn't implemented quickly, I can personally vouch that ED doesn't ignore good requests - from the time that I made requests while playing LO, to now, when I'm beta testing for them :) DCS is designed to be expandable. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
Feuerfalke Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 True. Infact it's the close contact between the developers and the community, that makes DCS so attractive beyond their products. And in return, I'm always puzzled by the amount and detail of information this community digs out with so much effort, if they have a question. MSI X670E Gaming Plus | AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | 64 GB DDR4 | AMD RX 6900 XT | LG 55" @ 4K | Cougar 1000 W | CreativeX G6 | TIR5 | CH HOTAS (with BU0836X-12 Bit) + Crosswind Pedals | Win11 64 HP | StreamDeck XL | 3x TM MFD
GGTharos Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 I think a lot of thanks goes to BeachAV8R as well for helping by writing the reviews :) And I agree, the developer notes and the fact that developers answer questions directly or indirectly (EvilBivol often goes to confirm facts with developers before posting a reply to a question, for example) and often, I think helps tremendously. predaeus Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Thanks to all envolved with making those videos and thanks to all that share their knowledge about all the stuff that comes up in these forums (be it game specific or technical in general). Always a pleasure reading/hearing/watching your reviews and explanations. And especially thanks to everyone for having a quite humorous and friendly community so far! Maybe fighter pilots are like singers and chopper drivers are like drummers... j/k ;)

I'm just showing off the shiny front end...all the tireless work that has gone into the programming, bug hunting, sound effects, graphics, 3D models, and documentation..is just stunning. That I can put together anything to show is a credit to all of their hard work.. :notworthy: BeachAV8R
