You should check "Wings of the Red Star" series from Discovery Channel. It's recorded by english producers in middish '90s so not exactly Soviet era but it covers planes produced during Soviet days. There's about 9 or 10 episodes, each covering one of the airplanes from Soviet era. MiG-29, Su-27, Mi-24, Tu-95, Tu-22 episodes.

"Discovery Channel" this channel is not very much objective, it is there better to look only a videorow without a sound.

Yeah I know, You can't expect too much objectivity from "Hollywood" documentaries aired in those channels, I already mentioned that "Dogfights" series were heavily biased on success of USAF and Israeli pilots. No German WWII aces, no Russian WWII aces...But Wings of the Red Star, reveals a brief overlook of Soviet planes for the first time, recorded right after their presentation to the west at Farnborough in late '80s and early '90.

thanks , but i'm more looking for cold war era vids in fact , i should have been more precise in my title :( :) . i missed nothing anyway because these were good quality WW2 vids
