TimRobertsen Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 (edited) Heyhey folks! Is there any way to permanently repositioning the flols overlay? I know it can be dragged around, but the position always resets when you start a new mission/restart mission. Permanent reposition would be great as I usually don't have time to move it around during landing. Edited January 22, 2021 by TimRobertsen First become an aviator, then become a terminator
TimRobertsen Posted January 21, 2021 Author Posted January 21, 2021 (edited) Could the position have something to do with this part of the "FLOLS.lua" ? There has to be some code, somewhere, which gives the overlay its position. Edited January 21, 2021 by TimRobertsen First become an aviator, then become a terminator
Solution TimRobertsen Posted January 21, 2021 Author Solution Posted January 21, 2021 (edited) Please forgive me! After some testing I found me suspicion to be correct. "local x" and "local y" are the coordinates for the overlay. Marked with red circle in the image. The coordinates are from right to left, and bottom to top. "1" is minimum value (screen edge), "2" is center of screen ... I didn't test max value. FLOLS.lua location: DCS World\Mods\tech\Supercarrier\PLATCameraUI I used Notepad++ to edit FLOLS.lua. I hope this helps someone Much love, stay safe! Edited January 22, 2021 by TimRobertsen 4 First become an aviator, then become a terminator

tmansteve Posted January 22, 2021 Posted January 22, 2021 Anyone who finds something to help is OK in my books. Will look at this later. 1
TimRobertsen Posted January 22, 2021 Author Posted January 22, 2021 Glad I could help out Just to clarify: The Overlay will not be permanently stuck/locked to the new position, it can still be dragged around. It just has a new starting/default position. First become an aviator, then become a terminator
wsd810 Posted February 26, 2024 Posted February 26, 2024 This is great information. Has anyone tried making it smaller?
