deadpool Posted January 25, 2021 Author Posted January 25, 2021 My wingman had it yesterday in the JF-17 as well. Different system, though WMR VR as well. Though please have in mind that it's something inside DCS, as the black eye shows on the repeater screen as well and is rendered underneath the text layer of DCS. This makes the JF-17 at the moment unplayable for me in VR! Lincoln said: “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." Blinky.ben Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 I have also had this experience with my WMR. Once it started happening if I swapped to a different airframe it would continue to happen also but ever sense I upgraded to the reverb I have not had this happen so far.
deadpool Posted January 27, 2021 Author Posted January 27, 2021 I now had this in the F-16, too .. and it had something to do with the lights. 1 Lincoln said: “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." ohyeah2389 Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 I have this too in triple screens, my right monitor flashes black whenever the anticoll lights are on, and sometimes randomly. Very annoying. Have to fly with lights off. Could you report this to ED? seems more like light model issue? deadpool Posted February 10, 2021 Author Posted February 10, 2021 Done, though this sadly means it's going to take ages to get fixed Lincoln said: “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." Harlikwin Posted May 27, 2021 Posted May 27, 2021 I've seen this in the Jeff mostly, it used to be other modules, but now its just the jeff. Mainly certain airfields in PG, like Kerman IIRC. New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1) Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).
joca133 Posted June 8, 2021 Posted June 8, 2021 (edited) Same here, experienced a brief bluescreen (Reverb G2 on WMR) every 5-10s, repeating like clockwork. Doesn't seem to happen when using outside f10 view. Definitely doesn't happen on same instance/mission while using the f18. Unplayable. Only thing that changed for me was dcs update. Napillo Posted August 17, 2021 Posted August 17, 2021 Is this fixed? I see they changed it so now the two eyes will render at the same time, where before it was rendering the left eye first then the right.
