I understand the Spit to have a secondary or aux tank just like the P-47 and P-51, and also like the Jug and Stang if this tank is filled it causes some stability issues. At what percent fuel load in the Mission Editor/Planner/Rearm Menu does the secondary tank start getting filled?

Aux tanks were a rare feature installed only in some late IXs, XIVs, XVIs and XVIIIs. "Our" IX, being somewhat loosely based on MH434 doesn't have these If I recall correctly.

I haven't noticed much of a stability difference really with low fuel vs full fuel and I wouldn't expect any - one tank is located on top of the other, roughly where the CG is, so fuel amount doesn't change longitudinal position of it in any meaningful way. That's quite different from P-51 and P-47 with their aux tanks located behind CG of empty aircraft.
