Gidge Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 I've purchased rising squall through Steam and can't see it anywhere in game. DLC files don't seem to exist in the local install. Help
Gidge Posted February 5, 2021 Author Posted February 5, 2021 Opting into the Open Beta through Steam cured it. Inverted replied to my support email pretty quickly 1
Ramsay Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 You may need to prompt steam to start the download • Steam>Library>Downloads or • Steam>Library>DCS World Steam Edition --> Right Side Bar > Manage My DLC Alternatively exit out of Steam and restart it. Note you'll *likely* need to be running DCS Open Beta to "see" the Rising Squall Campaign. • Steam>Library>DCS World Steam Edition>Properties>Betas --> "openbeta - Public beta versions" The current DCS Open Beta version is 2.5.6.60966 1 i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440
Gidge Posted February 5, 2021 Author Posted February 5, 2021 Inverted's support confirmed you need to be running the Open Beta. Once I did that it triggered the download.

In the steam library, right-click DCS world, click property, find the test tag, and select to participate in the public openbeta version. After that, automatically update the game, and you can see the latest content. Edited February 5, 2021 by JG54_NF2
