Hoirtel Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 I trim out so, but always making small gentle corrections. Trim out for flying off left wing and then glide in. Once behind I retrim then go for basket. I still get into wobbles - it's hard.

I want the AP hold to disengage as that still provides some dampening function for the aircraft whilst using the trim buttons to get lined up. In case you hadn't realized, to use the AP "dampening" effect all you need to do is select the A/P button then the ON/OFF button (rather than selecting a mode). It has been known to trip up lots of newbies trying to turn the actual hold functions on or off (protip: always use the paddle to completely cancel any AP functions)
