Is there a configuration of the A/G systems that will allow manual bomb release.

I.e. Not relying on the bombing computer, just a direct release on trigger pull. To be used with depressed reticle or maybe on command from a wingman in the buddy lase scenario?

I've tried a few combinations of weapon select buttons and hotas, but doesn't seem to work.

Also, why isn't there a stopwatch function anywhere in the aircraft? What were Dassault thinking? Although curiously there's a key command for a 'stopwatch' in the menus.

It's been a while but as I recall release method is set by bomb type. Low drag defaults to CCRP, high drag to CCIP. Therefore, if (like me) you prefer CCIP you need to be sure to carry the high-drag bombs.

I want neither CCRP nor CCIP, I’d like Direct/Man. Press a button, bomb comes off. No computer.
Most aircraft designed since about 1912 have a manual bomb mode.

The manual bomb release mode is not implemented yet and the stopwatch is not fully modeled either for the moment.

There is some talk about how to achieve the manual release of weapons as it is not a simple matter in the mirage, but it's planned.

Ah ok. Nice to know it’s coming.

I thought this was a limitation of the real C model 2000.  It's weapons computer is VERY limited when it comes to air to ground capacity.  For a more powerful system you would need to use the 2000-D or the -5 model.

As I recall, in M2kc, A2G ordinance release method is pre-set depending on ordinance type, as it was designed that way. I don't think you can change that. You can still do bomb bus with buddy lasing using INS coordinates with BAD bombing (offset = 0, or even better slightly in front of target, GBU will glide). In manual they say GBUs are dropped in CCRP
