Let's not make this worse than it already is...everyone avoid @Mistang and stop responding to their posts.

 

My OP has been answered...it's a work in progress.  Drag and acceleration are being adjusted.  ED's latest update fixed issues with how speed is displayed in the sim.

It is part of the forum rules (https://forums.eagle.ru/guidelines/ 1.5 & 1.10) mind you, @Mistang. Please don't interfere with module development - it is constant WIP, it takes time, so don't take it aways from the devs. Educate yourself, get experience and come back to test changes when they come and you're ready to discuss.

 

 

The reason why we show such patience even if being more or less obviously trolled, is not necessarily the guy trolling (intentionally or unintentionally), but the possibility of someone new coming in here and seeing this kind of shitshow. What must they think? How must they feel? Is what I ask myself. The idea that someone who just is filled with fresh excitement comes looking into the forums and runs into half thruths, false claims or vastly unexplained complaints, spiced with insults, etc - kills me more than anything. Unfortunately Mistang won't be the only one reading this, and while ofc bringing him into the fold would be nice, it was very clear to us from the get go, that the effort might be lost on him. However, others will be now able to learn from these blunders and put things into perspective, which is why this isn't lost time for me. There's always a bigger picture and a bigger community than just the one guy who posts on the off note. We must not forget: more folks are reading the forums than post in it. And we have to think of them, too. All good.

For the sake of sanity we will not allow performance related threads on this level anymore until the fixes are in - ofc if someone has a new finding, please feel free to post it in the bug section and we will investigate as always. Thank you. Once the fixes are done, we will open a new thread that informs you of all the changes.
