Sorry, I know there's already a thread about this, but I can't find it.. (not talking about the landmark visibility thread)

 

I've been testing 2.7 above Incirlik (with dreadful results by the way 😢..) and I'm under the impression that the rendering range of buildings has gotten worse.

 

When flying over Incirlik, this is especially striking when looking at the airbase houses with the red roofs. You can see them popup/grow very clearly. 

 

Not sure if this actually got worse, or that this is just the first time I truly noticed it. Maybe someone else could have a look?

Had the same issue.

Also the detailed textures of some large buildings load very late, which is very annoying when flying low and slow in a chopper.

I have a feeling that part of the optimization in this map is due to a very low drawing distance for derailed textures.
