No update to version 2.7 possible

When trying to switch from version DCS 2.5.6.61527.3 Open Beta to 2.7, the following message appears:

The same message also appears when I want to carry out the repair function. The following entry appears in the autoupdate_log.txt file:

That's it, nothing more is in the file. Is this a known problem? Do others have this mistake too?

Hello @kotor633. Try this:

1. Download the latest version of the updater here.
2. Unzip the ZIP, then copy-paste DCS_updater.exe in "E:\Installierte_Programme\FluSims\DCS World\bin\"
3. Launch DCS and tell us if your issue is fixed.

Good evening,

I have completely uninstalled DCS World from my arithmetic servant. Then downloaded the exe from https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/de/downloads/world/beta/. Then I started the installation: The same error occurs here as when I tried to update. 

@Flappie: I will now reinstall the 2.5 and then try it with this file DCS_updater_64bit.zip. I will then give you feedback as to whether it worked or not.

Did you use NTFS junction to move your DCS installation as explained in the thread above?

Hello, well: I have installed the latest 2.5 version. Then download the zip file from https://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/files/DCS_updater_64bit.zip and copy the exe into the .\bin directory. Then I ran the Switching_to_openbeta.bat. And it seems to be working now. There are currently 9.8 GiB of data being downloaded. Thanks for the tip with the new updater exe file.  

However, I cannot do anything with this article

nor can I comment on it.
