BMGZ06 Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 (edited) Since 2.7 I have been getting these odd black artifacts that start off as small black dots then sometimes start to grow on one side of the HMD in my G2 or the other until I turn my head away then back and then it is gone. It is only inside the headset and not showing in the desktop window or Steamvr window. I do not get this happening in single player though. Nor do I see happen in steamvr house or windows cliff house. Only in DCS and in MP servers. I cant record this issue at all since it doesn't render in the DCS window at all. I played in single player tonight for over an hour and never had an issue with these black artifacts. Then went back to a MP server and it started happening immediately. Most of the time I just see small black areas and they go away quickly. Yesterday I went as far as reinstalling DCS. I am also seeing frequent steamvr crashes now if I increase PD past 1.0. It seems like it is isolated to PD increase. Ill switch from DCS GUI to the NVIDIA NCPL. single player I'm only getting the stutters. ok stutters are gone, once I turned off the in-game MSAA, and turned it on in NVCPL. its good. I dont have MSAA turned on n game or in the NCPL. I am not seeing stutters though. I was on my own MP server and the only one flying. It happened after I landed, stopped and looked up.
