I am having trouble understanding the settings on the ASCMI when trying to release multiple bombs in a ripple. I have read the Chucks guide and the manual but neither seem to reflect what happens in the sim.

If I am carrying 6x MK82 air and I want to ripple all of them off what settings should I have on the ASCMI?. Mainly here i am talking about the quantity and multiplier switches. I am also trying to do this in CCRP (auto) mode.

quantity = total number of bombs you want to drop

multiplier = number of bomber per pulse

interval= how much space in between those pulses....

i.e:

Quantity 6, multi 2 , interval 010 = 6 bombs in 3 groups of 2 , 100 feet in between groups

Quantity 6, multi 6 interval 000 = 6 bombs at once

For CCRP you need a target designation with the DESG boxed in the EHSD (multiple ways to do this) or, do a point blank designation if you are running 2.7

Added: AUTO Point Blank designation.
    To enable:
A bomb type must be selected.
    Release mode must be AUTO.
    EHSD DESG must be unboxed.
There cannot be a designated target.
Use the VVM as a crosshair.
The Aircraft must be in a dive at least 5 degrees pitch down
    Press the pickle.
The spot under the VVM will be designated and the AUTO ASL and release cue will appear.
The designated target will be saved as T0 and the EHSD will navigate towards it.
Keep the pickle pressed until bomb is released.
    Target designation is saved.

Also make sure if you have a Interval set that you hold the pickle button long enough or not all bombs will come of the rails.

Yup....  Very important. Also, if you box the "TONE" option of the Stores page, you will hear a beep every time a weapon is released. I use it a lot.
