Miro Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 Inspired by the fact that the satellite image covers a large part of the area outside the map, I decided to check if I could reach Georgia After takeoff from Ramat David i set steerpoint one to Kobuleti Airfield coordinates... i got problem with images weight, so i try to continue in another post, hope this not ruin my topic.... Over Turkey 207nm to go.... Batumi... Kobuleti... :pilotfly:
Miro Posted April 22, 2021 Author Posted April 22, 2021 Where the black box is, we can expect the end of the map and satellite textures i think. 2 :pilotfly:
Wdigman Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 So how are you able to zoom all the way out to see all this area in the mission editor? I have flown to these areas but cannot see them in the mission editor. Can you place units and way-points there? Also, why is there so much map out of the "playable area" are there plans to model all of Egypt and the remainder of Israel. I did fly to the edge of the map in Nevada, the 3d Terrain stops at Lake Tahoe, the sat imagery for Reno is there and looks OK from altitude. Also flew to San Francisco in and you could see a lot of California till you came to a blurry area that looked like the coast.

I can't, that's a problem. If we can, we can do some missions with new dense clouds, like long range radar strikes or so, CAPs over whole territory of Turkey or Israel. :pilotfly:
Miro Posted April 22, 2021 Author Posted April 22, 2021 When You flying, press F10 map, then center on Your plane button, first from left on top. :pilotfly:
