Inspired by the fact that the satellite image covers a large part of the area outside the map, I decided to check if I could reach Georgia

So how are you able to zoom all the way out to see all this area in the mission editor?

I have flown to these areas but cannot see them in the mission editor. Can you place units and way-points there? Also, why is there so much map out of the "playable area" are there plans to model all of Egypt and the remainder of Israel.

I did fly to the edge of the map in Nevada, the 3d Terrain stops at Lake Tahoe, the sat imagery for Reno is there and looks OK from altitude. Also flew to San Francisco in and you could see a lot of California till you came to a blurry area that looked like the coast.

I can't, that's a problem. If we can, we can do some missions with new dense clouds, like long range radar strikes or so, CAPs over whole territory of Turkey or Israel.
