Full screen vs boderless window mode question

2.7 has a multi monitor bug when Full Screen is ticked and one makes the second monitor the active monitor:

 

There's a workaround by turning off Full Screen in the options and then alt-enter to go back to full screen.

But... if i do this the first time after DCS ha sstarted, i should be in Full Screen mode.

But... if i switch back and forth multiple times, how in the world do i know when i'm in full screen mode or in windows borderless mode?

Personnally, i can't tell the difference if i don't check the FPS counter (borderless gives an FPS drop of around 10FPS). If it wasn't for the FPS drop, i would never know.

Well, for me it used to be screen tearing (indicating non-functional V-Sync, and thus - windowed mode), but now, with V-Sync set via NV drivers rather in the game, I don't get tearing in either case. I DO, however, notice a massive difference in panning smoothness, ie. in windowed mode (V-Sync non functional again), even though fps is supposedly high, when looking around the panning is very choppy/stuttery (probably because of the monitor), while in FS mode the panning is butter smooth (If my old gfx card can maintain 60 at least).

 

I've got fps indicator always on, though (by Reshade).

Panning on both is the same for me.
