Regarding how much effort that alone might take , has anyone successfully ditched a Yak-52 in DCS ? Given how the Yak behaves when it lands on anything else in the game, I wouldn't be surprised if it worked. 1 ❧ ❧ Inside you are two wolves. One cannot land; the other shoots friendlies. Svsmokey Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 Hmmm...don't have the Yak , so i'm unaware . Thought it might be the best candidate to test the current hydrodynamics . 5 minutes ago, Tippis said: Given how the Yak behaves when it lands on anything else in the game, I wouldn't be surprised if it worked. 9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2

Thought it might be the best candidate to test the current hydrodynamics . Its damage model has a history of… ehm… incompleteness, let's say. It is capable of landing safely on surfaces that trigger instant explosions in any and all other aircraft aside from maybe the helicopters. Water is more explody than everything else so I'm pretty sure not even the Yak is immune, but it has become a bit of a running joke to land it in the silliest places.
