HSI - DATA - WTPT - OVFLY option doesn't appear to work as expected

As per NATOPS 2.9

An overfly (OVFLY) option is available on the WYPT DATA display.  OVFLY is used during auto sequential steering when it is desired to overfly the waypoint, otherwise the aircraft will turn prior to the waypoint to capture the course to the next waypoint.


 

The a/c (in CPL, AUTO, A/P) always overflies the waypoint, no matter whether OVFLY is selected or not.
