Ju-88. Any model would do from A4 to->. Would be perfect german equivalent for Mosquito. I don't know why people keep talking about Mossie being first multirole aircraft as Ju-88 did it all too; fast/dive bomber, heavy fighter, nightfighter, recon, anti-ship/submarine hunting, you name it - true workhorse of the luftwaffe. 🙂

You are totally right, and the Ju-88 first flew 4 years earlier, tough its development took much longer, mainly because of the requirement that it should be able to dive bomb.

The Ju88 was more of a traditional multi crew medium bomber though. If it was caught be day fighters it was curtains.

The Mosquito was different as it could at least run from day fighters and give them trouble in the right hands. I do agree some of the late war Ju88 G variants were paced though although no where near as maneuverable as the Mosquito.

The external model of the current AI controlled JU 88 is a masterpiece. It is far more detailed and accurate than the other flight sims that have the 88. It would be a shame not to have it flyable one day with as much care put into the interior and flight model as ED have put into the exterior.
