F6 weapon view not sound

Hello. I wonder if someone could help me with this. In the F6 weapons' view missiles or rockets don't have a sound. In a previous version I hear it fine.

I tried changing the sound settings without luck.

Just checked. In my dcs version evrth is fine. Please add the video and the track

I uninstalled all my mods for the video. The problem still exists.

That's strange. I checked your track. Evrth is fine, the rocket sounds well. Maybe something in the current brunch version of dcs

I tried to change my audio settings without luck. I don't know what else to do.

It's not a big problem but now I know its not working it bugs me.

Maybe you have sound files missing. Please reproduce the issue, then attach your dcs.log file ( C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS...\Logs\dcs.log ).

Hello. I executed the repair command including checking all files. It seems remains the same.

1. Please download the attached file. It's a DCS track showing a Kh-25ML missile being fired.
2. Place it here: C:\Users\MR\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Tracks
3. Then start DCS, click "REPLAY" and select the track.

Once the missile is fired, you should be able to hear it when the camera is placed behind it, but you won't be able to hear it when the camera is placed in front of it.

Once is fired I place the camera right at the exit of the rocket. Nothing. Only the sound of the plane fading at the distance and the explosion.

Anyway thanks for the help. I suppose the only thing left is to reinstall the sim

Not necessarily. You can start by renaming your "C:\Users\MR\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Saved Games\DCS" folder into "DCS_backup", then try to reproduce the issue.

 

If you're still able to reproduce the issue after this, do the following in order to retrieve your custom settings:

1. Exit the game
2. Rename the newy created "DCS" folder into "DCS_virgin"
3. Rename your "DCS_backup" folder into "DCS"

You are a genius. It works. Now looking at the new folder and comparing to the old I found one folder called sounds that it seems to be related to some mod... not sure, and inside I founded several lua files named weapons, missiles, bombs...probably the cause of the problem.
