Is it possible to add custom jester shortcuts for radar operation ?

Hello everyone,

The radar is very important in the F14, thus having the possibility of using all of its ability can really be a game changer, specially in BVR.

 

The issue is that we don't have some very important radar operation shortcuts such as azimut scan angle and bars which makes the RWS mode very difficult to use and to get a lock at a moving target.

 

That's why i am asking if you guys could possibly add those shorcuts on a future update please ? i know this isn't a game breaker thing but it really lowers the capacity of the F14 in BVR in my opinion, specially against aircrafts that can use those options.

 

I already tried to import the rio keybinds to the pilot keybinds by findling around, but Jester keeps replacing all the keys i press (unless it's an axis). The only way to prevent that is to disable Jester, however, those options are mostly useful on RWS only, and Jester is a must to use RWS.

According to your silence, there are no plans to release these options ? I know that it could be difficult to integrate them into the jester menu, but you could atleast give us the possibility of pressing those switches in the pilot seat without them being replaced by jester actions. It would not be very realistic yes, but it could be a placeholder while waiting for a better integration, and jester not being able to efficiently work with the pilot by changing the scan bars and azimut correctly isn't realistic either.

You could try Voice Attack, its not quite hotkeys but with a simple phrase you can make get options chosen in less then a second

You can make macros in VoiceAttack and assign that macro to a button on your hotas. So, in effect, it can be a hotkey.
