BenPR1 Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Since there is no focus adjustment to make viewing instrument panel clear, please just make the Night Vision Clear (not blurry) like in X Plane 11. Apply to F14,16,18 etc etc. Thanks !
Bunny Clark Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 AFAIK, real pilots don't adjust their goggles to view the instrument panel. They leave them focused at infinity and glace under them to view the instruments with their bare eyes. 2 Oil In The Water Hornet Campaign. draconus Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Yep, NVG is not designed to look at instruments. 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
RodentMaster Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 There are two buttons for NVG BRT and DIM. Once goggles are active you can really dim it out and see the MFDs with no problem. I mapped them to a stick to play around a bit, and even in daylight with the goggles on, I could bottom out the dimmer option and still see my TADS. Not as easy to read as normal, but still made a world of difference. Try messing around with the brt/dim button on them. Default is about mid-range.
