leafer Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 I've tried Sins demo and really, really liked it. Has anyone played World in Conflict? I need a game to keep me occupied until BS is released - a really good one since it'll be months before BS goes gold. Or years... :D ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
SuperKungFu Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 I liked World in Conflict, personally I would probably never play Sins because i like modern warfare combat. So its really a matter of taste. But World in conflict was pretty fun, especially in high graphics. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
leafer Posted September 29, 2008 Author Posted September 29, 2008 I have mediocre computer so too much eye-candy will just kill it. How's the game play aspect? I've tried C&C kane wrath and for bored with it in about a week as did Dawn of war: soul storm. I've tried Theater of War demo but it really sucked and I really wanted to like it. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
SuperKungFu Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 well unlike the Command and Conquer series and dawn of war, you build your force and attack. World in conflict you have a certain count and you just keep calling in your forces I mean its up to you, World in Conflict was fun, but once you past the campaign, you are pretty much stuck with the multiplayer which i don't normally play. Grimes Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Sins is pretty epic from what I've seen. If you played Homeworld 1 or 2 its similar to those. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. leafer Posted September 29, 2008 Author Posted September 29, 2008 Well, I just came back from a game store and they didn't have neither. Gotta go with Sins then because they have option to download the game; I can't afford the added shipping cost to get WIC. bummer... ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
hitman Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 I like the graphics on WiC. I havent been playing it much lately because Call Of Duty 4 and Crysis 2 are more along my lines. Online WiC is hell, but if your smart, you can be pretty good at it. WiC is all about Sun Tzu warfighting, and you have to be smart to put in your 2c. Its kind of like C&C, but in only the way that you control your forces on a map instead of single units. This is a full on real-time strategy game. mikoyan Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 I used to play commandos 2 in the school library and it was a blast... In my fist game I played in the same team with other guys of the school, I was the explosive expert of the team. The problem was that I put the explosives:poster_oops: too soon for us to leave the attack point
leafer Posted September 30, 2008 Author Posted September 30, 2008 you guys should download Sins demo - it's really, really, truly an amazing game. But WIC looks pretty darn good and it garnered good reviews. too bad. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
