My Channel Map. Where is it? OBeta update.

I mistakenly updated OB into the wrong drive, C, so I moved the whole folder into the correct drive, I.

 

Everything is there except Channel Map.

 

There is no option to instal, in the manager and OB Repair did nothing.

 

How do I get it back?

Hi. Maybe it was disabled in the module manager. Please attach your dcs.log file, we'll see.

( C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS...\Logs\dcs.log - may appear as "dcs")

Hello.

There are no zip logs from this year in that file, only ones from 2020.

Channel is not listed in the Module Manager, or in the Opening Page bottom line bar.

I didn't ask for a zip file. I asked for the dcs.log text file, which may show up as just "dcs". Don't you have one in your Logs folder?

Thank you. The Channel module appears as "not authorized" in your log, along with other modules:

This means the game detects the Channel files but says you don't have the right to use it. If you have several accounts, ensure the one you're using owns the Channel map.

The aircraft shown have all been re installed because they are listed as expected in the manager.

 

The Channel is not listed and therefore cannot be installed.

I've owned it since it came out and it worked perfectly well before the update. It is my most used map.

It is listed in the shop as owned. I have only one account.

 

Will a OB re install work?

dorianR666 once had a similar issue. He deleted the module subfolders to fix his issue. You can try deleting "I:\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\TheChannel".

I now have the option to download.

Update:

Installed and working OK.

 

I had pressed the update button without checking the drive path, which should have been "I" instead of "C".

 

100gb free space, reduced the SSD to red 16gb and the OB update ran aground on The Channel and was therefore incomplete.

 

I immediately transferred the whole file to "I" without realising it had a bit missing.

 

All good now.
