Unit Guide?

Hi, I find the Encyklopedia somewhat hard-boiled, so I wonder if there is a "Units User Guide" somewhere?

With a more laymans description of the units.

Which units do I use for what? How do I use them etc.

Something I could use when designing missions without having to leave the ME.
