Looking at historical photos it seems to be a real mixed bag of whether a particular Corsair had one or not. And another one, probably a bit harder to accommodate, but how about the FAA Clipped Wing mod? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Our F4U-1D is modeled to be late war (Sept-44 to 1945) Chance-Vought specific derived from factory blueprints....incorporating MCR-600 and MCR-351-6A mods.
