gtsab Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 I'd like to just map a single button to tell the ground crew to remove chocks on my simpit instead of having to use the keyboard. Right now its the only thing I have to use a keyboard for. Like maybe a way to script the commands all together? thanks
Hulkbust44 Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 I know many people us voice attack for those menus. 1
rob10 Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 You should be able to use AutoHotKey to chain the commands together to activate with one button. I've done it for getting tanker clearance.
Dangerzone Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 (edited) I know this is not what you've asked for - so please disregard if you only want it to work with a keypress, but VAICOM with Voiceattack would allow you to do this simply by saying "Chief - remove the wheel chocks" in your mic and have it automatically execute the menu and get the response. (Plus many other voice commands as well). It even has some 'hidden' menu items that aren't available for us users - such as "Request Refueling" - which immediately starts refueling without bringing up the re-arm window. WS Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 (edited) Yes, voiceattack is the way to go. Voiceattack is a bargain at $10, free trial period, and is easy to program. Edited May 24, 2021 by WS 1
