Is there a definitive answer for Window mixed reality? Open XR or steam motion projection?

I've googled and watched videoes but some vidoes are old and so not current. What is the best way to get a good solid flow for the G2?
Use the open XR motion projection or the steam one?

DCS does not use OpenXR, hence reprojection can only be controlled via SteamVR (or in WMR for SteamVR). Have a look at @speed-of-heat excellent G2 setup guide here, this topic is covered along with a bunch of other useful stuff:
