Open Beta Dedicated Server Install UNPACK_FAIL: (2224)->[GzipError: inflate: (-3) incorrect data check]

I'm trying to install the open beta dedicated server, but it continues to fail at the same place after multiple repairs and clean installs

Any ideas to solutions are appreciated. I've attempted a couple ideas, like clearing the _download folder and restarting, but it's the same every time

Hi. It happens sometimes with the downloading of this specific file. I have no idea why but I know how to get you out of there.

Simply delete this file:

 

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta Server\_downloads\Mods/terrains/Caucasus/Surface/Caucasus.surface5

 

The updater will then re-download it and you'll be fine.

Beautiful, thank you. That appears to have done it. It got stuck on the Syria one next but got past the Caucasus. Is this a hint to something or just an unlucky happening.

I'd say unlucky happening. I guess it's essentially happening with maps because they have bigger files, which make them more prone to download errors.
