sublime Posted May 28, 2021 Posted May 28, 2021 I noticed on the vids the Raduga sight (I assume) panning around under the chin of the helo has 'doors' that seem to cover and protect it. What do they open only when it's in use to protect it? Anyone have info on it? They seemed to open and close several times

Lenses stay covered and bug free when not in use. Same reason TGPs are stowed on the ground, damage and bug splats can really degrade performance. 1 Laptop Pilot.
