Skkuda Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Accurate emulation of both the “ABRIS” moving map navigation system and “Skosok” night vision goggles for day and night missions. I´m quite lost here.....Night vision goggles aren´t supossed to be used in night conditions? In wich way can this goggles be used in day conditions? Rhino4 Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Obviously, the ka-50 is already day-capable without nvg's. They meant that the ka-50 can be flown in night missions with this hardware, making the ka-50 both night and day capable (although the targeting systems are not night capable): Not that you would use the nvg's during the day...
DTWD Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 You can be in the Arctic and it can be day and dark at the same time...so I suppose technically it's an accurate statement. Regards Paul Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
joey45 Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 NVG's can be used in the day time if its bad weather i.e. FOG, Low Cloud Cover... The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. ALDEGA Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 You can be in the Arctic and it can be day and dark at the same time...so I suppose technically it's an accurate statement. If it's dark then it would technically be considered night, I guess.
