What´s the meaning of this?

Accurate emulation of both the “ABRIS” moving map navigation system and “Skosok” night vision goggles for day and night missions.

 

I´m quite lost here.....Night vision goggles aren´t supossed to be used in night conditions?

 

In wich way can this goggles be used in day conditions?

Obviously, the ka-50 is already day-capable without nvg's. They meant that the ka-50 can be flown in night missions with this hardware, making the ka-50 both night and day capable (although the targeting systems are not night capable): Not that you would use the nvg's during the day...

You can be in the Arctic and it can be day and dark at the same time...so I suppose technically it's an accurate statement.

NVG's can be used in the day time if its bad weather i.e. FOG, Low Cloud Cover...

If it's dark then it would technically be considered night, I guess.
