I no longer have access to the 50% discount for new players

Hello everyone, 

I was playing on the steam version before, but with the new free to play programm and the 50% discount for new players, I decided to play on the standalone version and no longer from Steam.

 

At first, the promotion was displayed on the online store but after transferring my steam modules to the standalone version, the promotion is no longer displayed. Is it because I bought modules from Steam ? I have never bought anything from the DCS online store.

If you have transferred modules to the standalone version then you are not seen as new player.    That is my assumption.

I've just been reviewing the store on my account which I've had for a few years. This account has no purchases on it as I'm using it for authentication with the Steam version and with server hosting. I'm unable to see any 50% discount.

 

Could somebody provide some clarity over the discount rules? Does it apply only to new accounts or any account that has no purchase history?

Does the linked steam account have DCS purchases on it? If so the 50% will not be valid as you are not a first time purchaser.
